When Vic and the crew went on their trek To raise a bit of brass Their feet were tested, all the way On roads, on paths and grass. When clambering over rocks Vic and a few crossed the line adding miles upon the clocks! They climbed up hills and dropped down dales As they walked from east to west Just now and then they had to stop For grub and a pint of best. The seven-day trek was quite a feat For the normally relaxing Vic The hills were steep, the going tough But on and on they went They will reach their goal of that we can be sure And a stack of money will be raised your all doing such an amazing thing, you could have not given more
So wipe them brows and keep on going Give your blisters not a care Let’s see smiles from ear to ear As you have walked from ear to there! xxx
