At seven stages of the walk, we were invited to stamp a passport as we made progress from Wallsend to Bowness-on-Solway

Crossing the M6

As day 6 finishes we reach Carlisle, crossing the motorway just outside of the city.

Just over M6 motorway bridge over park is the Jubilee Bridge over the Eden

Dinner at Davids

We had a wonderful dinner at a restaurant called Davids, close to our hotel in the centre of Carlisle on the penultimate night of the walk

Would just like to make it known that Geoff & Paul did NOT drink any beer unlike the others!!

Taxi back to Walton

This morning (Day 6) started with a taxi journey back to yesterday's finish point at Walton.
